We left Uzbekistan and went to Baku.
Original plan was to go through Turkmenistan by train and cross Caspian Sea by boat.
However, the political situation was not stable in this region and the passenger ship seemed to go out of service.
I changed the schedule and moved to Baku by airplane.

2. Before going to Tashkent airport, we took a picture with the owner of the shelter where we stayed at.

After reading the pamphlet of New Silk Road, the workers greet me with smiling.
9. The subway is located very deep, probably 100 meters.

I took the chance and took a selfie.

I bought 3GB usim chip equivalent to 25,000 Korean Won. This is my new telephone number in Acerbaijan.
I had a hard time in finding the shelter.
I had to cancel the first shelter which I made an appointment with, because the condition was too bad.
I searched and checked another shelter by smart phone almost for one hour.
I managed to find a hotel in the central area, paying relatively high expenses.
14. Next morning, Prof. Lee wanted to rest at hotel and I went out for tour by myself.

39. I got out of the castle. I popped on the bus passing by.
I tour the city by getting on any bus which I don’t know the route.
I study the city map and find out where I am. This is my own style of city tour.
This style of touring is possible since my subject area is city planning.
Nowadays, GPS makes finding my location very easy.

I got off the bus and I started to walk.

They read the banner written in Korean. I took a selfie with this nice couple.

He raised his hand after comparing the picture on the pamphlet and me.

They were in attractive smiles. I took a selfie with them.

48. I ate supper with Prof. Lee together. I met this cute baby in the cafe.
49. A dog followed his master and kept silent and motionless for a long time.
The dog had a good manner.
