[246] rest day
[247] Pilgrims of Monk
Gaya Station ~ C point
20km
After one day’s rest, I started to Rajgir, one of the 8 sacred places of Buddhism.
It was 7:30, early in the morning. The Gaya city was quiet yet.
We met children at the market.
In India, people grow crops even in winter.
I was passing by public school.
I took a picture with students with tidy uniform.
There was a placard advertizing Buddha Open School.
I met Monks who are going pilgrimage.
They said, “We are from China.” But I guess they are from Tibet.
They were walking from Rajgir to Bodh Gaya, the opposite direction of us.
The appearances of pilgrim monks looked very natural.
They reminded me of the statue of Walking Buddha which I saw at Thailand.
I entered village road.
I ran out of drinking water. Just in time, I found a tube well of groundwater.
I asked for water. The woman gave me water.
Mr. Hara did not miss a picture of that moment.
We took a picture with the workers of welfare facility.
I recorded surrounding landscape by video.
