Comrade Park Bawoo holds a protest in front of the Japanese Consulate General every Wednesday to stop dumping nuclear contaminated water into the ocean.
He invited our group (Mr. Lee Rae-kyung and me) to stay at his house instead of a hotel while we were in New York.

His wife, Jina Park, was of great help.

In the evening, we had dinner together at the invitation of Hwang Mi-mi (second from the right), a fellow New Yorker.

On the 4th (Thursday), I had a valuable meeting with Sonia Jang (second from the right), a leader in New York civic society.

We carry out promotional activities in the Korean community, such as putting up posters with Park Bawoo.

On the evening of the 5th, at a gathering of Koreans in New Jersey, I and sponsor president Lee Rae-kyung had the opportunity to explain our Global Citizen March to STOP Nuclear Polluted Water.

About 50 people gathered.

A powerful march through Manhattan. The leader at the front is Pastor Youngmin Jeong. And ‘Pungmul Band’ takes the lead in appealing to New York citizens. The reaction of citizens waving and giving thumbs ups was enthusiastic. Although it was the hottest day of the year, we lost track of time due to the enthusiastic response from citizens during the march.
