[Daily March log 0909] Afternoon ~ 0910 Arrival at Shimbashi, Tokyo

0. Today’s photo is an on-site survey at Shinagawa Station in Tokyo showing that an overwhelming number of citizens support ‘Don’t dump polluted water into the sea!’ This result is completely different from the opinion poll results published by Japanese media so far.

We are fighting a winning fight.

1. In the afternoon, as announced, there will finally be a march from Yokohama Station.

2. Many citizens came out. There are many comrades who came from far away on purpose. Although it is not well visible in the photo, there are also comrades Sang-ho Cho and Yoon-hwa Cha who flew in from Sejong City, Korea on purpose.

3. Kim Min-hwa, a Korean-Japanese, participated in the march while on a business trip to Tokyo, and later served as an interpreter until the end of the event.

4. A comrade who participated with a hand picket written in Hangul as well.

5. Take time for self-introduction during the march.

9. Arrived at Kawasaki Station around 7pm. (There are many people who only briefly participate in certain sections today and tomorrow, and due to time constraints, it is difficult to record the names of participants according to the section they participated in at each time.)

10.

11. You can’t miss taking a commemorative selfie with these people. Thank you for your sincerity.

 12. In the evening, receive messages from Comrade Kim Jeong-mi and

“Japanese government, stop immediately!

It is a sin to dump Fukushima radioactive contaminated water into the sea.

Respond to the strong demands of Korean and Japanese citizens to save the global environment.”

23. 9.10 Korean Kim Jeong-mi

13. receive a message from Comrade Choi Ja-young.

Japan’s discharge of nuclear contaminated water is a criminal act in violation of Articles 192, 194, and 207 of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea and the London Convention.

I condemn the governments of Korea, the United States, and Japan, who are betraying and trampling on the public will of the 80% of Koreans who oppose it.

14. It is finally the day of arrival at the final destination.

15. Comrades gathering at Kawasaki Station early in the morning. Korean language was also added to the banner.

16. The departure photo is nice. Kim Gwang-mi and Yoshida-san came from Aichi Prefecture.

17. Rather than following the old road, we decide to take a large road that has a good promotional effect for passing vehicles.

18. There are those who wait for our march at the intersection of the bridge and give us cheering money.

19. Cross the Tama River. It’s finally Tokyo.

20. Comrade Cha Yoon-hwa is on the far left of the photo.

21.

23.

32. Arrived at Shinagawa Station not long after departure. Many comrades welcome us.
The gist of my remarks is as follows,
“Children are at risk. We are all parents or grandparents. The discharge of contaminated water must be stopped.”

33. It’s an impressive scene. A field survey showing that an overwhelming number of citizens support ‘Don’t dump contaminated water into the sea!’ This result is completely different from the opinion poll results published by Japanese media so far. We are fighting a winning fight.

34. This is an impressive painting showing the message that there is a lot of empty land near the Fukushima nuclear power plant, so you can it store as much as you want.

43.

44. Finally, it’s Shimbashi Station. It is a time to celebrate and share our thoughts. I expressed my gratitude that I was able to arrive safely thanks to the cooperation of my comrades.

45. Commemorative photo and

46. Commemorative selfie.

Now all we have to do is successfully carry out the delivery event that will be held at the National Assembly tomorrow.

47. Thank you to all my comrades and readers who have prayed for my safe arrival.

A side story.

Late at night, at a convenience store on my way back to my accommodation in Shimbashi, an elderly drunk man nods when he sees the walking march poster attached to my body and backpack. Then he said, ‘The Japanese government is the problem,’ and suddenly opened his wallet, took out 10,000 yen, folded it, and put it in my top pocket, saying ‘Kanpa’. This citizen knows the truth. I long for all citizens to be like him, to be like him.

We are fighting a winning fight.
