[Daily march log 0811] Via downtown Osaka

0. Photo of the day is a commemorative photo before the start of the afternoon march in front of JR Osaka Station in the Umeda area of downtown Osaka.

21. During the afternoon break, Mr. Kuwano has already edited and uploaded the photos I sent him to publicize an event in Kyoto.

22. It’s afternoon break time, near Momotani Kouen Station, a German mother and daughter, after looking at the writing on my t-shirt give me a thumbs up. Then say that they want to take a picture with me. It reads “Nuclear is Over”. when I told them about the Korean-Japanese walking march, they became very surprised. Parting with them I thought to myself that I’d better consider making a T-shirt with this phrase “Don’t Dump the Nuclear Contaminated Water!”  and a QR code.

38. Sumitani Akira-san, who went to Samcheok, South Korea and held an anti-nuclear campaign, joined us in the after-party. He gave me cheering money as well at this time.

39. I became close with the couple who sat next to me at a standing izakaya in the subway. It is a scene where they were surprised and gave me a thumbs up when I told them that I have come all the way here on foot.

I will take a day off tomorrow.  Looking back, for the last 16 days I have walked every day without a day off.
