India Pilgrimage Schedule and How to Participate

Dec.30. Bodh Gaya (the place where Gautama Buddha is said to have obtained Enlightenment)
Dec.31. Sarnath (the place where Gautama Buddha first taught the Dharma)

2018
New Year’s Day~Jan.2. Varanasi (city on the banks of the Ganges in the Uttar Pradesh state of North India)
Jan.7. Rajgir (the place where the Buddha preached)
Jan.15.~Jan.16. Vaishali (close association with the Buddha)
Jan.25.~Jan.26. Kushinagar (where Buddhists believe Gautama Buddha attained Parinirvana after his death)
Feb.4.~Feb.8. Nepal Kathmandu (Round-trip vehicle trip)
Feb.9.~Feb.10. Lumbini (place the Buddha was born)
Feb.19. Shravasti (Buddha’s hut)
Mar.12.~Mar.13. Sankassa (Descent of the Buddha at Sankissa)
May 7. Dharamshala (staying until mid-May after arrival)

• During the pilgrimage in India (December 2017 – May 2018), we would like to have a pilgrimage with Buddhist monks.

• Especially from the end of December to the end of February, it is a good opportunity to go to 7 out of the main eight pilgrimage sites related to the life of Gautama Buddha

And we hope to be with you when we will arrive in Dharamshala in mid-May in 2018.

• It is standard to walk 20km per day, but it can be adjusted from 5km to 10km per day

• Fees are at your own cost. (Please purchase each flight according to the schedule)
We can not make a flat fee because we have different participants and people every day.
The cost of accommodation is also the responsibility of each person.(All prices are much cheaper than Korea, so the real burden is small)
